There are a number of great Asian themed film festivals in North America and our northern neighbors reminded us that they are still taking submissions for the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival but the deadline of June 1st is fast approaching! As Canada’s largest Asian film festival, Reel Asian provides a public forum for Asian media artists and their work, and fuels the growing appreciation for Asian cinema in Canada. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the festival which will take place November 8-13 and 18-19 in Richmond Hill, Tornoto. In addition, the festival will be awarding $10,000 in cash prizes!
