I’m sure all of us at some point in our young adult years have sold or knows someone that sold knives to make a little bit of extra cash.  But in the end, we only ended up selling one really expensive set to our mom, who bought it just to boost our self-confidence.  This isn’t quite the story of Sharp, the latest feature film from writer/director Nick Conedera, but it’s an aspect of the movie that we can all relate to.

Sharp follows a “lazy, stoned-out surfer kid [who] must adapt to the corporate world and learn how to sell cutlery in order to support his family and get his parents back together after his dad loses his job and walks out on them.”

Asians On Film is excited to invite everyone to the Los Angeles premiere of Sharp on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Downtown Independent Theater.  Tickets are only $9 so come out and support the cast and crew of Sharp, which includes AOF friend Johnny Young!
