Ken Watanabe has a such a long film career it is impossible to know where to begin. Inception means beginning so perhaps the Leonardo DeCaprio blockbuster is the best place to start! Inception is a ’40s period piece which revolves around an American expat who returns to Shanghai in the months before Pearl Harbor due to the death of his friend. What!? I don’t remember any of that in the film! Ok, so the reality is that while he has a supporting role in Inception, he stars in another film out this year called Shanghai. It most certainly won’t be the blockbuster of Inception, but it certainly is a drama worth seeing and a great way to see the greatness of Ken Watanabe’s acting!
