We confess that Pineapple Express and The Hangover were both uber funny, but can we take another funny stereotypical asian in the panned comedy Vampires Suck (a film we choose to skip)? Hollywood just can’t help itself and actors have gotta work, but even Ken’s great performance can’t change the fact that these roles are painful to watch. What we are glad about is the fact that his star is rising and hopefully roles in the upcoming Zookeeper and Transformers 3 can save us from more asian stereotypes.
