David Au’s feature film debut was 10 years in the making and finally premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Asians On Film has been tracking the project through filming and caught up with the cast and some actor/friends there to support the sold out screening.
SYNOPSIS: When Emma moves in with her estranged, gay son, the pair must learn to reconnect through food, where words fail, and face the foreclosure of the family’s Chinese restaurant and a stubborn fear of intimacy.
