There is nothing more exciting than Asian Americans collaborating to make films in Asia. Such is the case with the Hong Kong production Capital 金迷都 from American Robert Delaney from Philadelphia and Canadian Aries Cheung from Toronto. The film is a fictionalization of actual events – personal and political – that took place in Greater China between 2004 and 2007, around the time of a momentous shift in China’s geopolitical stature and economic standing. The story focuses on the disappearance of a documentary filmmaker, the breakup of cross-cultural relationships, and a screenplay embellished with unique drawings, which suddenly becomes valuable, causing rifts among friends and lovers.

Currently a campaign is underway to help finance the film. To lend your support visit their indiegogo page: Capital
