Last year American audices were introduce to South Korean actor Byung-hun Lee in G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra as “Storm Shadow.” 2010 turned out to be a big year for him as three films of his were released, Iris: The Movie, The Influence, and I Saw the Devil.

We were lucky enough to catch a sneak peek of I Saw the Devil which also stars the amazing acting of Min-sik Choi. While we won’t spoil the film, we can tell you that this is a must-see thriller where Lee stars as a agent who goes a bit rogue to capture a serial killer who murdered his fiancee. On the surface it sounds like a movie you’ve seen many times, but be assured that this is a complex, gruesome and original film that will constantly negate your idea of “typical serial killer movie” and maybe test your morals a bit. And the ending is anything but typical! There also has been some buzz about The Influence so we are adding it to our list of films to check out. With this kind of film success it’s possible we could see Byung-hun Lee grace Hollywood movie screens yet again in an English language film.
