To celebrate the success and achievements of the Asian Pacific community for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), Verizon Wireless has launched the Asian Pacific American Visionaries Campaign featuring a complimentary one-day conference on May 26th with Asian American leaders in fashion, sports, business, and entertainment. The conference will feature a Visionaries Video Contest where aspiring visionaries can submit their own ideas for a chance to win $5,000 and other prizes to bring their ideas to life. The APA Visionaries Video Contest is an amazing opportunity that will began May 1st and ends May 20th. Interested applicants for the Video Contest must be 18 years or older and legal U.S. residents living in Verizon’s Northeast Area and can take part in the contest by submitting a one-minute video (or less) of their visionary idea, explaining how it integrates Verizon Wireless’s products and services and how the cash prize can help bring their idea to life. The top three videos will be chosen based on popular vote on the Verizon Wireless APAHM Facebook page. The grand prize winner and 2 runner up prize winners will be determined by the APA conference panel speakers on the day of the conference.

The conference is a free event and will be held on Thursday, May 26th at Grand Ballroom, Webster Hall – 125 E 11th St, NY, NY 10003 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., with the reception beginning at 6:15 p.m. For official rules including how to register and take part in the video contest, visit www.verizonapahm.com and you can follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/verizonapahm.
