Steven J. Kung’s Directorial debut, A LEADING MAN, premieres at the Hawaii International Film Festival and screens Oct 17th & 18th. Starring Jack Yang as a young, talented Chinese American actor who is fired from a starring role on a television show and finds himself trying to salvage his career by entering into a romantic relationship with a successful casting director (Heather Mazur). The film boasts a strong ensemble cast that also includes the brilliant performances of Bruno Oliver, Raymond Lee, Pat Tsao, Tsai Chin and Kenzo Lee.
