If you’re hungry for independent Asian-American cinema, there’s no shortage of film festivals happening right now! Getting ready for its 29th year, the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival will be taking over the posh Directors Guild of America theaters to showcase the latest and greatest in Asian-American cinema.
Running for a whopping 10 days and coinciding with Asian Pacific Heritage Month, the L.A. Asian Pacific Film Festival will feature 148 films as well as educational and industry panels.
This is also a great opportunity for some star-gazing as past years have drawn the likes of Sung Kang, John Cho, Kelly Hu and many others to the red carpet and after-parties.
Go HERE for more information about the L.A. Asian Pacific Film Festival which runs May 2nd to May 12th, 2013.
Stay tuned to Asians On Film for festival coverage and behind the scenes interviews with your favorite filmmakers!
