You can see Pearl in the new Australia film, Sleeping Beauty, starring Emily Browning, which was nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival. Where you won’t see her is behind the camera, her new role as our Sydney correspondent.
The Asian-Australian film industry may not be as big as the Asian-Hollywood industry, but it is still a very important part of the Asian-English film industry as a whole.
