While the San Diego Asian Film Festival seems to be leaning towards more International films and less focus on North American films each year, it’s still one of our favorite film festivals and there is plenty of Asian-American talent this year.
A few highlights include Tanuj Chopra’s NICE GIRLS CREW, Keo Woolford’s THE HAUMANA, Deann Borshay Liem & Ramsay Liem’s MEMORY OF FORGOTTEN WAR, Byron Q’s RASKAL LOVE, Junya Sakino’s SAKE-BOMB, Jason R. Miller’s UNIDENTIFIED, Justin Chandra’s PYRO & KLEPTO, Zao Wang’s multiple award winning short HONEYMOON SUITE, and Jerell Rosales’ wonderfully funny BORN TO DANCE THIS WAY.
